Hero MotoCorp “We Care” CSR initiative is all about “Caring for Humanity” and we believe in living up to that at every step. We regularly undertake meaningful initiatives which help in enriching the lives of the marginalized community in meeting their current needs and also prepare the future generation to meet their needs in the future by running sustainable programs.

We have touched almost 2,20,000 + people in various walks of life across India.

With a development approach, Team Hero befriends communities around our areas of operations and assist them in all possible ways, starting from taking care of the fundamental healthcare facilities and basic infrastructure needs like access to power and water. We through our partners also engage in programmes focused at making rural women self-reliant, improve their wages, and fulfil their dream of becoming entrepreneurs.

Education resources mobilisation

Our Mobile Medical Van in Delhi, Dharuhera in Haryana, Neemrana in Rajasthan and Halol in Gujarat is benefitting more than 85,000 patient coming from Marginalized section of society by providing medical assistance, basic treatment as well as medication. In addition, Mobile Eye Check-up Van was also launched in Delhi. Another initiative focused at eyecare is a Satellite Vision centre which set up with support from AIIMS at Malpura village near our Dharuhera unit.

The centre is accessible to over 30 villages in the vicinity. In far off areas, we continue to conduct eyecare camps and cataract surgeries. Additionally, medical camps were organized for over 5,000 students in various government schools. Adolescence education for girls and Yoga for a health body and mind were also a part of this project.

Eye-care Van: To ensure that people get timely eye-care tests done and get basic treatments for eyesrelated issues, we introduced

Eye-care on wheels: A fully-equipped van with an ophthalmologist onboard reaches remote areas across Delhi.

Winter Night Rescue Van: The van runs across Delhi in winters to transport homeless people who spend chilly night on roads to warm night shelters. Thousands of People are getting benefit every year.

Mobile Science Lab with Agastya Foundation

With consolidation of almost all major activities from our flagship programme at Gujar Ghatal, a rural village in Rewari district of Haryana, our CSR efforts have ensured that the village is on its way to becoming a prototype of a model village and a smart village.

Our positive interventions in education, healthcare, environment and skilling of the inhabitants are mutually reinforcing and creating an ecosystem for a village that can become a trailblazer in the near future.

Life-skills development,Remedial Classes and school enrolment

Sports not only play an integral role in overall development of youth, talented youngsters can also chose sports as a profession. In order to promote sports at the grassroots and also to encourage more youngsters to go out and play, we are consistently investing in building the rural sports infrastructure at the grassroots.

In the last couple of years, we have constructed basketball courts, badminton courts, running tracks and other play fields at various government schools across Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.

Support is also being provided to budding athletes to train and perform at district, state and national level as also to sports federations, academies and the states sports departments to sustain competitive events and ensure player get to participate at international events.

Twenty budding boxers, including girls, are being trained at Mary Kom Regional Boxing Academy in Manipur. We have also been supporting mobility of winning players from Khel Mahakumbh Uttarakhand and have also supported contingents participating in some international events in the recent past.
