Hero MotoCorp “We Care” CSR initiative is all about “Caring for Humanity” and we believe in living up to that at every step. We regularly undertake meaningful initiatives which help in enriching the lives of the marginalized community in meeting their current needs and also prepare the future generation to meet their needs in the future by running sustainable programs.
We have touched almost 6.1 Million + people in various walks of life across India.
With a development approach, Team Hero befriends communities around our areas of operations and assist them in all possible ways, starting from taking care of the fundamental healthcare facilities and basic infrastructure needs like access to power and water. We through our partners also engage in programmes focused at making rural women self-reliant, improve their wages, and fulfil their dream of becoming entrepreneurs.
Our healthcare projects are primarily focused at ensuring good health and prosperity amongst communities around our areas of operations. The project provides an easy access to basic healthcare facilities for communities residing in remote areas and ensures that children studying in government schools get access to preventive healthcare.
Mobile medical vans
Preventive healthcare is provided through mobile medical van which runs in four locations – Delhi, Dharuhera in Haryana, Neemrana in Rajasthan and Halol in Gujarat. These vans are benefitting people from rural areas by providing basic treatment as well as medication totally free of cost.

Satellite vision centre
Another initiative focused at eye care is a Satellite Vision centre which was set up with support from AIIMS at village Malpura near our Dharuhera unit. The centre is accessible to over 40 villages in the vicinity. In far off areas, we continue to conduct eye care camps and cataract surgeries.
Preventive health check-up camps were organized for students studying in government schools. Adolescence education for girls and yoga for a health body and mind are also a part of this camp.
Apart from providing communities with basic healthcare facilities and revamping the schools in their villages, we have also been engaged in doing need-based interventions as well as developments of necessary infrastructure and following such practices which helps in making villages self-sustainable.
Some of the major interventions include rebuilding of public health centres (PHCs) and community health centres (CHCs), development of community centres, rebuilding of hand pumps, water filters and roads, community mobilization for undertaking village development work and running other support programs etc.
Additionally, we organize animal check-up camps for livestock of communities and also conduct workshop with farmers guiding them to have better produce.
