Become a Hero!

I bet you have a friend who likes all your pictures on Facebook and comments saying stuff like this…

"Awesome bro, I wish I could get a bike too"

"How do you manage to get the time to ride so much"

" I wish I could ride a bike"

"I so wanna do this"

I know of so many people who’d love to ride, but don’t. Biking rocks! It’s exactly why people wave at you when you pass them on the road. The truth is, there is a biker inside every one of us. Whether we nurture them or not, it’s dying to get out and hit the road. Let’s start by classifying these people into two or three large groups.

Group 1 – Those who don’t know how to ride a bike

Group 2 – The ones who are either married or have financial obligations preventing them from taking the plunge

Group 3 – The difficult ones. Someone will not let them ride. Could be their mom, dad, or their better halves.

Group 3 are the set of people I don’t want to judge. So I will back off.

Group 1 and 2, you guys don’t really have a reason to be where you are. If you love riding, but don’t know how, go learn. Ask someone to teach you. It’s damn easy. Of course, you cannot get on the highway right away and clock miles. It will take time, and loads of patience. You will need to understand how the machine works and how you work along with it. You will need to develop your relationship with it before you set sights on the long haul. Of course, a very easy way to speed up this process is to ride with friends, in groups, SAFELY! Observing someone riding well or making a mistake is very useful to your training.

Group 2 – You guys are full of excuses so I am going to judge you. If being in the midst of a mountain, or having food at a dhaba on the highway is going to make you really happy, an EMI should never get in the way. Trust me, I purchased my motorcycle out of impulse. Just like you, I thought of several things before I finally paid up. It is definitely not going to be that difficult to take the first step to a fulfilling part of your life. Your fears of squandering away your money can safely be put to rest. The journey thereafter is totally worth it.

Group 3, one last attempt, show that person this blog. Tell them its safe to ride. People get hurt doing all sorts of stupid things. Motorcycling is the least of them. A motorcycle will never make you fall, rash riding will. If they agree and you get yourself a bike, remember to buy me something ;-)

One more thing, Happy New Year!

Your friends may be depending upon you to help them ride safely. So, do not go for anything very harsh, or else you may actually find yourself getting a very bad accident.

Always check on the bike, and make sure that you can actually keep everything safely. When you're riding long distance, always make sure that you have the appropriate amount of riding gear with you. This will save you from all accidents.

The need for you to purchase a bike should be due to your travelling needs. So, there are also some kind of impulses that you need to be understanding about, so it is not a good idea for you to squander away your money on purchasing something you have no need for.

In the event that you're actually looking forward to purchasing a new bike, always make sure that you are well conversant with riding it. There is no need to get the appropriate amount of bike right, without having to worry about any sort of problems.

When you are purchasing a Hero bike, always make sure that you will be able to get a motorcycle that will be able to help you travel around comfortably. There is no need to go around travelling, very rashly do so at your own leisure.

Do not try and feel like a hero when you're on a bike. Chances are that you may be over estimating your power, and you will not be able to control your bike, in case there are any problems. So, always make sure that your very safe when travelling.

When you bring a new bike, most of the people would want to go for that same bike. However, there are people that do not know how to ride a bike. So, it is always important that you give them to people that are actually conversant with the vehicle.
