Rebuilding Lives & Reviving Hopes

About enable

At Hero MotoCorp we believe in Equal Opportunity & Inclusion, where everyone has the right to access basic health care and education, irrespective of disability of any nature.

With this belief we are supporting people of all ages in developing adequate opportunities and means for persons with disabilities, helping them live life to the fullest by developing their skills, capacities and by enabling them to realize their potential and latent talents. While working with underprivileged people with disabilities, we realized that every such person is special & talented, and all they need is an opportunity to fulfil their potential. We give them the belief that they can convert their dreams into reality and live a better life irrespective of the challenges they face.

Education resources mobilisation

In our effort to support specially-abled people, we have provided additional support to para athletes and our little support has gone a long way in achieving largest-ever medal hauls for our country at Rio Paralympics 2016, World Para Athletics Championships London 2017, and the Asian Youth Para Games 2017 in Dubai. Each of our supported 292 participating players have their own inspiring story of overcoming their physical and mental challenges, and competing with the best in the world.

One motivating story is all that is needed to create a ripple effect. So it is the success story of one specially-abled person, that ignites hope in thousands of others who might have lost confidence or have low self-esteem. Our endeavour is to create an inclusive and motivating environment for our specially-abled compatriots. More than 4,000 poor disabled individuals have benefitted through surgery, artificial limbs and crutches.

Life-skills development, Remedial Classes and school enrolment

Specially-abled people are a special focus under our Jeevika programme which focuses on training people at various centres in skills that can make them independent financially and otherwise. We have supported 787 specially abled people in getting employment through our "Ability Based Livelihood programmes".

Under accessible India campaign we have created 19 toilet block facility in government schools, which would provide relief to specially abled children who face constant apathy. This will help many children to attend school on regular basis.
