TERMS OF USE

This “Ride like a Roadie Contest ” (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest") is organized by Hero MotoCorp Limited, having its registered office at The Grand Plaza, Plot No. 2, Nelson Mandela Road, Vasant Kunj - Phase -II, New Delhi - 110070, India ("Hero MotoCorp"). The Contest is designed to provide participants of an interactive experience with Roadies season XX winner featuring Hero motorcycles under the brand Karizma XMR.

 

Your participation in this Contest is contingent upon your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs"). Please read and understand these T&Cs before participating. By participating in the Contest, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.

 

For the purposes of these T&Cs, "You" or "Your" refers to any natural person who is eligible to participate, and "We", "Us", and "Our" refer to Hero MotoCorp.

 

1. PURPOSE AND PROCESS

 

1.1 The purpose of the Contest is to provide an engaging experience for participants to get a chance to interact with Roadies XX season winner upon winning the Contest.

 

1.2 The contest will run during the time till 15th June. The meet & greet will happen post the show is over, when Hero MotoCorp have the winner visit the Hero Premia showroom to pick his/her bike.

 

1.3 People can participate via clicking on the link provided through posts on official Instagram handle of Hero MotoCorp and MTV Roadies

 

1.4 The Contest requires participants to -

 

• Fulfil the requirements (name, age etc.) and book a test drive;

• Visit Hero Premia showroom (as designated by the HMCL);

• Answer 1 question related to Roadies;

• Take a test ride of Hero Karizma XMR bike; and

• Post a photograph / video from their social media accounts with the bike along with the hashtag – “#ridelikearoadie”.

 

1.5 The Contest may include activities such as digital interactions, contests, giveaways , or other promotional engagements.

 

1.6 The T&Cs are built exclusively for the ‘Contest’ that will be held between May24, 2025 until June 15, 2025.

 

1.7 The Contest is intended solely for promotional and entertainment purposes and does not constitute an offer, contract, or guarantee of any kind.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

 

2.1 To participate in the Contest, You must:

 

a) Be legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the applicable laws of India.

 

b) Must have attained the age of 18 and a valid driving license;

 

c) Meet any additional eligibility requirements specified by Hero MotoCorp

 

2.3 Employees, agents, and representatives of Hero MotoCorp, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising agencies, along with their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

 

2.4 Participation in this Contest is entirely free of charge. No purchase, payment, or financial commitment is required to enter or participate. Any communication suggesting otherwise should be disregarded, and participants are encouraged to report such instances to Hero MotoCorp.

 

2.5 Hero MotoCorp reserves the right to exclude or disqualify any participant on the following grounds:

 

(a) Misconduct, fraud, or bad faith.

 

(b) Tampering with the entry process.

 

(c) Violating these T&Cs.

 

(d) Engaging in offensive, disruptive, or unlawful behavior.

 

(e) Any other reason deemed fit by Hero MotoCorp.

 

3. PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES

 

3.1 Participants must follow all instructions provided for the Contest, including registration, test ride and content submission.

 

3.2 Any submission that contains offensive, defamatory, illegal, or inappropriate content will be disqualified.

 

3.3 Hero MotoCorp reserves the right to modify , reject, or remove any participant’s content at its sole discretion.

 

3.4 Participants shall not engage in unfair practices, including but not limited to spamming, cheating, or using automated systems for participation.

 

4. EVALUATION CRITERIA

 

4.1 The evaluation of entries (where applicable) will be based on predefined criteria determined by Hero MotoCorp, which may include creativity, originality, engagement, and adherence to the Contest’s requirements.

 

4.2 Hero MotoCorp reserves the right to determine the winners based on internal evaluation.

 

4.3 The selection process will be final and binding, and no appeals or reconsiderations will be entertained.

 

5. WINNERS AND REWARDS

 

5.1 A total of five (5) winners will be selected after screening the answer provided to question asked, shared photographs / videos. or via lucky draw.

 

5.2 As a reward, winners will get a chance to meet the winner of Roadies XX. Rewards may additionally include gears, merchandise, or other incentives, as determined by Hero MotoCorp.

 

5.3 Winners will be announced through official Instagram of MTV Roadies handle and Hero MotoCorp handle. Also, respective winner(s) will be communicated by June 21, 2025 via WhatsApp on the number provided by the participants.

 

5.4 If a winner fails to claim their reward within the stipulated time, Hero MotoCorp reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

 

5.5 Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefits.

 

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

6.1 Hero MotoCorp will not be responsible for:

 

• (a) SPAM messages, undelivered notifications, or connectivity failures.

• (b) Lost, incomplete, or erroneous inputs.

• (c) Technical malfunctions, software failures, or AI Tool errors.

• (d) Unauthorized access, hacking, or data breaches.

• (e) Any injury, damage, or loss incurred during the test ride or due to participation.

 

6.2 Any attempt to tamper with the AI Tool, manipulate the Contest, or engage in fraudulent activity will result in immediate disqualification and may lead to legal action. Hero MotoCorp reserves the right to claim damages for any losses incurred due to such actions.

 

6.3 Hero MotoCorp shall not be liable for network failures, device incompatibilities, or any technical issues preventing participation.

 

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

 

7.1 Participants acknowledge that they do not own any intellectual property rights over the content generated during the Contest.

 

7.2 Hero MotoCorp retains full ownership of all AI-generated content and reserves the right to use, reproduce, and distribute such content in any medium.

 

7.3 Unauthorized use of Hero MotoCorp’s trademarks, logos, or brand elements is strictly prohibited.

 

8. PERSONAL INFORMATION & DATA PRIVACY

 

8.1 By availing benefits under this Contest, Participants waive all copyrights, rights of publicity and any related rights and further consents to Hero MotoCorp Limited’s (HMCL), right to tag, notify, picture, tape or portray him/her, and to exhibit this material in any and all media, advertisement now existing or hereinafter created, including without limitation internet, television, film, radio and print media, without any compensation whatsoever for advertising and publicity purposes, except where prohibited by law. Participants also consent to HMCL’s, right to use his/her name, voice or picture, or the content.

 

8.2 By participating, You consent to Hero MotoCorp’s Privacy Policy, which can be accessed here. Users are required to read Privacy Notice and Terms and conditions of HeroMotoCorp. Your participation and disclosure of any personal information is governed by terms of HeroMotoCorp and Jiostar India Pvt. Ltd. is not liable in any manner for personal information.

 

8.3 Any personal information relating to Participant(s) will be used in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

 

8.4 Hero MotoCorp takes reasonable steps to secure personal data but cannot guarantee complete protection against unauthorized access.

 

8.4 Personal information may be retained as required by applicable laws and legitimate business purposes. Hero MotoCorp will not share your data with third parties except as necessary for Contest execution and legal compliance.

 

9. FORCE MAJEURE

 

9.1 This Contest is subject to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemic/pandemic, technical failures, government actions, and any circumstances beyond the control of Hero MotoCorp.

 

9.2 Hero MotoCorp shall not be liable for any delays, losses, or adverse impacts caused by such events.

 

10. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

 

10.1 In case of any dispute regarding the Contest, participants agree to first attempt to resolve the issue amicably by contacting Brand Manager, Hero MotoCorp at The Grand Plaza, Plot No. 2, Nelson Mandela Road, Vasant Kunj - Phase -II, New Delhi - 110070, India.

 

10.2 If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be referred to arbitration as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in New Delhi.

 

10.3 Any disputes arising out of or related to this Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

 

11. GENERAL TERMS

 

11.1 This Contest is conducted on a "best effort" basis. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

 

11.2 Hero MotoCorp’s decisions regarding the Contest are final and binding.

 

11.3 Hero MotoCorp is not responsible for costs incurred by participants during participation.

 

11.4 If dissatisfied with the Contest, participants may choose not to participate. No claims shall be entertained in this regard.

 

11.5 Hero MotoCorp reserves the right to modify these T&Cs & rewards at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated via official channels. Continued participation after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised T&Cs.

 

12. ANTIBRIBERY & ETHICAL CONDUCT

 

12.1 Participants shall not offer, give, solicit, or receive any form of bribe, kickback, or other illicit advantage in connection with this Contest. Hero MotoCorp maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward bribery and corruption, and any participant found violating this policy will be disqualified and may face legal consequences.

 

By participating in the Contest, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
