The Young Innovators Program (“Program”) is an immersive innovation program designed by Hero MotoCorp Limited (“HMCL”) for students in classes 9-12. It focuses on developing creativity, problem-solving, and prototyping skills within the field of mobility. Participants engage in hands-on projects, collaborate with peers, and learn to pitch their ideas to industry experts.
Students currently in classes 9 through 12 with a curiosity for innovation and an interest in mobility challenges are encouraged to apply for the Program. No prior experience in engineering or innovation is required, just a problem-solving mindset!
The Program will be held across three locations. Please note that the duration varies by location:

No, you must select only one location at the time of your application. Please choose the location that is most convenient for you to attend in person.
No, physical attendance is compulsory for all sessions. To receive the certificate of completion, participants must attend the entire duration of the Program in person.
Applications are submitted online through the link shared via email. The process involves a short form to capture your motivation and creative approach.
Students can apply individually; however, parent/guardian’s consent is mandatory to participate in the Program.
- Selection: Yes. Due to limited spots, applications are reviewed based on creativity, problem-solving potential, and motivation.
- Fee: There is no fee to apply or participate in the Program.
The Program is an experiential learning process of innovation, not a competition. There are no individual rankings; every student who is selected and reaches the final cohort is considered a winner and a valued member of our innovation community.
All participants who successfully complete the Program and attend all sessions will receive a certificate of participation from HMCL.
You will work in teams on real-world mobility challenges. Throughout the journey, you will be guided by industry experts, engineers, and innovation mentors who will help you refine your ideas and build prototypes.
HMCL reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the cohort at any location at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, operational requirements or at HMCL’s convenience.
Once you complete the Program, you will become part of our YIP alumni community, gaining access to future innovation events, networking opportunities, and collaborative projects.
